Derya Socks can produce socks with the following types of machines :
*Single cylindered 84-200 needles from 9 to 18 gauges.
*Double cylindered 96- 200 from 9 gauges to 14 gauges.
*Double cylindered 48-96 needles from 3 to 6 gauges.
Knitting
The variations of knitting in our factory have the following charecteristics: 50% of our production single cylinder machines and 50% of our production is made on double cylinder machines. We use these machines for the production of socks with ribs, patterns or jacquards. We divide them in 6 gauge, 9 gauge, 14 gauge and the 18 gauge. The yarns used for knitting include cotton, wool and natural fibers mixed with synthetic yarns (polyamide, elasthane) from Nm 8/1 to Nm 40/1, synthetic yarns used are from dtex 13 to dtex 156. We use two different ways for toe sewing 60 percent of production is performed by hand sewing and 40 percent is performed by rosso machines accordingly to requests.
Toe Sewing:
The toe of the socks we produce is sewed in two different ways: First one is hand linked toe whereas the second one is a complete toe process that is sewed with rosso machines. The types of toe closing varry upon the customer requirement.
Forming
In the meantime, all our products are formed by steam boarding system . Also, we are using the heating system.
Packaging
The packaging and shipment department's duty is to package and finish the socks exactly the way our customers ordered and always send them on time.
